We absolutely loved the authentic and quirky atmosphere of this place. The big bedroom with its stylish en-suite was perfect for us. Peter, the host, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to help us. We even had dinner with him and other guests, which was a great experience. The pasta he made for us, even though we hadn't booked it in advance, was delicious and exactly what we needed.
Felt at home, no complaints.

The bedrooms at Chez Jallot are absolutely fantastic! They are spacious and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. I loved the ensuite facilities, which made it incredibly convenient for me as a person with physical handicaps. It felt like a home away from home.
One thing I didn't particularly like was the lack of grab bars in the bathroom. It made it a bit challenging for me to maneuver safely.

the friendly host, Pete, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. the room was stunning, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed, including tea and coffee facilities. the dinner prepared by Pete was nothing short of amazing, and the breakfast was equally delicious. We were also impressed by the informative and welcoming nature of Heidi and Anthony, who provided great insights into the history of the house and the local area.
We highly recommend this place as a top choice for accommodation. Cons: Nothing at all!

We had so much fun trying out the course in the trees and challenging each other to see who could complete it the fastest. It was like being in a real-life action movie! And let me tell you, the ski resort of Super Besse was off the hook! We hit the slopes all day and partied all night. It was the ultimate winter adventure with my crew!
The only thing that could have made our trip even better would have been more options for young, party-going people. Like, maybe some cool nightclubs or bars nearby where we could dance and have a blast after a day of epic adventures.

Our stay at Chez Jallot was fantastic! We got great value for our money with a spacious and beautiful master room and bathroom. The location was perfect, with stunning views from both the front and rear of the property. The quiet and peaceful setting was ideal for walking and enjoying the countryside. Peter, the host, was warm and friendly, providing a wealth of knowledge about the area. The courtyard was a lovely spot to relax with a glass of wine. We hope to return and stay a bit longer in one of the Gites.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better at Chez Jallot would be a wider variety of items.
